Centred on an inspired adaptive re-use of the heritage-protected Goods Shed 5 by famed architect, Nonda Katsalidis, Seafarers is a new mixed-use waterfront precinct for Melbourne which will incorporate a limited collection of residences, Australia’s first 1 Hotel, a 1,000-seat function centre, dining and retail, all complemented by a 3,500sqm public park.
Scope of work:
Print and digital communications
As Melburnians welcomed the first day of spring with glorious blue skies, a stunning display of over 150,000 tulips lined the banks of Melbourne’s Yarra River as part of a large-scale zero-waste installation by sustainable designer and eco-warrior Joost Bakker. The interactive public installation offered complimentary blooms to be collected free of charge in an effort to raise awareness about the epidemic facing local flower growers.
